The new dual-boiler machine Vetrano 2B with LED lighting and PID is the latest innovation for the finest espresso enjoyment from the house of Quickmill: introduced in 2015 at the HOST trade show, it features a rotary pump and a Faema E61 brew group and, with individual temperature control via a PID control, is one of the TOP models in the Quickmill portafilter family. With the lateral LED strips, the Vetrano 2B also sets a visual highlight in your premises - and thus also offers something for the eye. What's more, you retain full control when preparing the perfect espresso: while the pump is started with the draw lever, the digital Shot Time Counter counts the time like a stopwatch until the coffee is ready to be enjoyed. Another new feature is the option to regulate the boiler pressure from the outside with a side-mounted pressostat - pump and boiler pressure are displayed via a dual pressure gauge. The Vetrano 2B has a 3L water tank as well as a fixed water connection, with switching between the two options conveniently possible via a switch. The two boilers are also separately switchable by toggle switches, which allows for economical operation: this allows the machine to save power without using the hot water/steam boiler when it is not needed. The heating time of the machine is about 15 minutes. The boilers are adequately sized at 0.75 liters in the coffee boiler and 1.4 liters in the steam boiler, and their insulation ensures high temperature stability and a large constant steam volume. Another plus for you as a user: The "cool touch" steam tube has insulation that prevents the outer tube from heating up and thus prevents you from burning your fingers or the milk from sticking to the tube. Safety aspects are not neglected either, for example, the integrated automatic shut-off function takes effect if there is a lack of water in the tank. The Vetrano 2B has professional components from the commercial espresso machines and is handmade, like all Quickmill machines. The housing is made of hand-polished 304 stainless steel, and the adjustable feet are made of aluminum.
